Just Listen to Us Academy is a digital health education and empowerment platform designed to educate, equip, and empower Black women, families, caregivers, and communities with the knowledge and resources needed to better understand their health, navigate complex healthcare systems, advocate for themselves and their loved ones, and become informed participants in their healthcare journeys.

Built on the belief that every person deserves to be heard, respected, and empowered in decisions about their health, JL2US Academy addresses the intersection of health education, disease awareness, healthcare equity, patient advocacy, financial wellness, and community empowerment.

Through a combination of expert-led education, lived experiences, patient stories, community conversations, and evidence-informed resources, JL2US Academy creates accessible learning opportunities that help individuals recognize health concerns, understand diagnoses, communicate effectively with healthcare providers, and take action toward improved health outcomes.

The Academy centers the experiences of Black women while expanding to support families, caregivers, and communities impacted by healthcare disparities. It acknowledges that health is not limited to a diagnosis — it is shaped by access to care, trust in healthcare systems, financial stability, social support, and the ability to advocate for oneself and others.
